Amelia Moses is a film director & screenwriter based in Montreal.

As a filmmaker she is interested in female-driven stories of the macabre and the uncanny. Her work has been screened at genre festivals around the world including Fantasia, Fantastic Fest and Stiges, and has been written about by publications such as The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times. She recently directed the thriller Guess Who for Tubi and her latest short film Her Body is currently on the festival circuit. In 2024 she won the Banff Jean-Marc Vallee bursary. She is currently in development on a supernatural folk horror feature which was recently supported by the inaugural BendFilm:Basecamp. She is a member of the DGC and is repped by Curate Management.

Amelia is a photographer and video producer focusing on capturing artists and their work. She has collaborated with organizations and companies such as Pink Triangle Press, Ada X, the PHI Center, the MAI Theatre, MASSIVart, the Quebec Writers Federation and See Creature Studios.
